Spectrometer - Student (STE 10246)

Robust instrument cast construction on base board which fits in a wooden case. Designd for student use. Nevertheless is capable of very high performance.

Features:
 SCALE - 170 mm dia divided into 1 x 360 deg independently lockable with rotating screw.  Vernier which reads to 6 min of arc COLLIMATOR - mounted on a fixed pillar with 150 mm objective 21 mm clear aperture focused with spiral mechanism independent 6mm long adjustment slits

TELESCOPE - on moveable pillar with 170mm objective 21 mm clear aperture with x 8 Ramsden eyepiece and glass crossline graticule. Both axes have means of levelling and squaring to axis of rotation. Rack and pinion focusing of collimator and telescope.

PRISM TABLE - marked with lines to assist in prism placement relative to levelling screws.
