Motion Sensor (STE 20081)

Using ultrasound technology , this sensor to takes highly accurate distance measurements in real time. Ultrasonic pulses are emitted by the motion sensor, reflected from a target, and then detected by the device. The time it takes for the reflected pulses to return is used to calculate the target's position. This allows you to study the motion of objects such as a person walking, a ball in free fall, or a cart on a ramp among other physics and physical science experiments. Motion sensor features an adjustable sensor head.  Includes quick reference guide, and USB drive for storing data.  A protective cage accessory and a RED Supprt Rod are available separately.
