IMPORTANT NOTE

The nominal voltage for this product is 6V DC. It will tolerate 12V DC without damage (it was designed to permit intermittent over-rating). Sometimes an increase in voltage above 6V will result in better performance, a voltage of up to 8V may be used but may reduce product lifetime
